Consultation Process
This will be a face-to-face encounter. No teleconsults are allowed. It will involve going through the pre-booking form you had filled out to secure an appointment clarity on issues raised and more questions will be asked about your health concerns, background, expectations, etc.
In most instances, a discussion session will be immediately followed by an examination session, where this is indicated. An examination may mean or include bedside investigations such as Pap smear, Ultrasound, urine testing, etc.
You will be required to sign a Consultation consent form before seeing the doctor or another healthcare practitioner.
Note:
1. Not all consultations have to include an examination session.
2. Same Practice Consultation fees are applicable and payable, irrespective whether an examination was done or not.
